Team sports can play an important role in your child's personal development. Holy Cross offers volleyball, basketball, track. Students in 3rd through 8th grade has an opportunity to participate in athletics. The mission of Holy Cross Athletic program is to provide an atmosphere for each student with knowledge of the sport, fundamental skills, teaching disipline, building community, and creating an attitude of good sportmanship.

2010 Volleyball Information
Step 1: Register online with the Greater CYO Office
The CYO registration is good for one school year for all CYO sports and the fee is $23. The Registration and Parent Release form can be completed online at http://www.cyojwa.org. Registration will be available online in mid-July.
Step 2: Sign Up for Volleyball with Holy Cross
The Holy Cross Volleyball fees are as follows:
Third- and fourth-grade girls, $40 per player
Fifth- through eighth-grade girls, $50 per player
Please make checks payable to 'Holy Cross Athletic Association'
Fees can be paid during School Sign-Up Day on Monday, August 16 or before the volleyball clinic or volleyball evaluations (see schedules below).
Volleyball Clinic (optional):
Tuesday, August 17
6 to 7 p.m. - 3rd and 4th grade
7 to 8 p.m. - 5th and 6th grade
8 to 9 p.m. - 7th and 8th grade
Step 3: Attend Volleyball Evaluations (5th - 8th grade)
Volleyball Evaluations will begin on Wednesday, August 18 for fifth- through eighth-grade girls only. Players need to wear their uniform jersey to their evaluation. If your child cannot attend the scheduled evaluation for their grade, please contact Mike Miranda to make the necessary arrangements.
PLEASE NOTE: Your child will not be evaluated unless your Holy Cross fees and CYO registration is paid. When fees are paid, uniforms will be handed out to players at the clinic or before evaluations begin.

(5th through 8th grade only)
Wednesday, August 18
6 to 7:15 p.m. - 5th grade
7:15 to 8:30 p.m. - 7th grade
Thursday, August 19
6 to 7:15 p.m. - 6th grade
7:15 to 8:30 p.m. - 8th grade
We will have a coaches meeting on Sunday, August 22 at 5:30 p.m. in Pflumm Hall. At that time, coaches will receive their rosters, sign up for practice times and notify their players after the meeting. Practices begin on Monday, August 23.
