I consider it a blessing and an honor to be part of the staff at Holy Cross. I’ve always told my students that I hope when they are my age they have a job that they love and truly love the people they work with. Not many people can say that, but I can. All three of my sons graduated from HCCS. My husband, Mike, and I always felt they were very well prepared for high school It was, however, the wonderful Catholic school environment with which we were most pleased and impressed.

I teach at Holy Cross because of the commitment shown by teachers, staff and parish community. The environment at Holy Cross supports our Catholic faith. I think a solid foundation is important for young people as they develop spiritually and academically. Holy Cross provides a solid foundation of principles based in faith and education that will sustain young people in their life journey.

Holy Cross is a community of faith-filled, spiritual people. I wanted to work at Holy Cross because I wanted to be a part of this community of believers. In addition, I felt called to teaching. I am inspired by our young students and their love of Jesus.

I chose to come to Holy Cross because I want to pass on the great Catholic education that was taught to me as a child. I attended a Catholic school and had many wonderful teachers. I still remember all their names and faces. I was very thankful for my fourth-grade teacher; he is a big part of why I am teaching today.
