I feel blessed to be a part of the staff at Holy Cross. As a Holy Cross graduate, I had the opportunity to experience the quality education that is provided at this school. I am very excited about working in the caring, student-centered community that is Holy Cross.

I have the best job! Working with students kindergarten through 8th grade is a unique challenge; every day is a new opportunity to share my love of reading. I am fortunate to be a part of this nurturing community. My three children graduated from Holy Cross, and I am so lucky to work with a staff that has become my second family.

I love Holy Cross because there is an overall sense of family with everyone who steps in our building. The relationship between the students, teachers, parents and staff is wonderful to be a part of.

I believe that God gives everyone a special gift of creativity. My job as an art teacher is to nurture and cultivate these feelings into a life-long pursuit of creative expression through art. I am thankful that Holy Cross truly understands and support the arts and the important role that art plays in the development of children’s minds. I love my job. I work with great people and you couldn't ask for a better bunch of kids.

My first teaching job was at a small Catholic school in a rural Wisconsin community. The people of this community were so wonderful. They were friendly, hard working, faith filled, down-to-earth people who had strong morals and values. The kids were an absolute joy to teach and coach. It was an honor to be a part of St. Francis Xavier. And then two years later, we moved to Kansas. I was devastated because I had to leave a community I loved so dearly. I didn't think I'd find anything like St. Francis Xavier ever again. I was wrong. I found Holy Cross. I am so blessed to be here and to have my kids here as well.

I teach at Holy Cross because of the commitment shown by teachers, staff and parish community. The environment at Holy Cross supports our Catholic faith. I think a solid foundation is inportant for young people as they develop spiritually and academically. Holy Cross provides a solid foundation of priniples based in faith and education that will sustan young people in their life journey. |
