Fourth Grade Susan Gittinger Holy Cross is an amazing community whose members, young and old, encourage, inspire and care for one another. It is a blended family, bound by faith, that is comitted to the well being of its children. Julie Lewis Fifth Grade Emily Byrne Holy Cross is a welcoming community and a second family. It is a pleasure to teach my students about the Catholic faith and to receive the opportunity to attend weekly Mass with them. I am thankful to work in a wonderful community surrounded by a dedicated and passionate staff. The students bring me joy and a smile to my face. Sheila Neuburger I teach at Holy Cross because of the commitment shown by teachers, staff and parish community. The environment at Holy Cross supports our Catholic faith. I think a solid foundation is important for young people as they develop spiritually and academically. Holy Cross provides a solid foundation of principles based in faith and education that will sustain young people in their life journey. Sixth Grade Allison Carney Holy Cross is a community of faith-filled, spiritual people. I wanted to work at Holy Cross because I wanted to be a part of this community of believers. In addition, I felt called to teaching. I am inspired by our young students and their love of Jesus. Quenten Troyer I chose to come to Holy Cross because I want to pass on the great Catholic education that was taught to me as a child. I attended a Catholic school and had many wonderful teachers. I still remember all their names and faces. I was very thankful for my fourth-grade teacher; he is a big part of why I am teaching today.
