I feel proud to be a part of Holy Cross School when we all walk together on our journey to attend one of our All School Masses. Each time, I am in awe as I witness all of our students enthusiastically praising God in prayer and song. Arms are waving, hands are clapping and voices are singing. It is a wonderful experience. I feel proud to be a part of a school community where Jesus Christ is the center of all that we do. I am blessed to work with wonderful, caring parents, fellow staff members and students. Jesus Christ is present at Holy Cross School as we all work together to achieve academic success as well as loving and serving God. It is a very special place to be!

I entered the world of education because of my love of learning new things and for the joy of being around children. I joined Holy Cross because of the warm, friendly atmosphere that I felt when I first entered the building. Holy Cross staff and teachers welcome everyone into the building and let them know that they are part of a new family and part of Christ's family.

The community of Holy Cross creates a bond of love and support that embraces you. Each person is part of the "family" that creates the bond known as Holy Cross School and Church. In my classroom I strive to develop the family atmosphere that fosters learning for all students. Each child is encouraged to be themselves, a member of our family community, and learn to live in the likeness of God.

The atmosphere and community of Holy Cross reminds me of my grade school; the families and staff are so welcoming and down-to-earth. Holy Cross is the first school where I taught, and after six years I look back and see how much Holy Cross has helped me grow as a Catholic, a teacher, a spouse and a mother.

I choose to continue teaching at Holy Cross because of the special community that is the parish. I was raised in this parish and I feel that now, as an adult, I am giving back to my home community. My daughter went to school at Holy Cross for third through eighth grade. It was a blessing to be able to watch her grow and form her faith here at Holy Cross. She and I both have made life-long friendships here, and we know Holy Cross will be the same blessing for many in the future.

I choose to teach at Holy Cross because of the unity I feel not only with the teachers and staff, but with the students and parents also. Holy Cross provides a loving, nurturing, fun environment that helps foster independence in the students. My daughter graduated from Holy Cross and my son is currently a sixth grader. I feel blessed that they are both becoming life-long Catholcis. It is a great place to be, here at Holy Cross.
